The company is owned by the management of Northwest Regulator Supply, Inc. Northwest Regulator Supply, Inc. manufactures and markets rotary-electrical system test equipment – including bench testers and direct connection test leads – repair, adapter and custom wiring harnesses under the AMFOR™ Electronics brand name. These products help retailers and OEMs reduce warranty replacement costs and increase customer satisfaction. Founded in 1961, Northwest Regulator Supply is committed to being in the forefront of the demanding and changing needs of today's automotive, motorcycle, ATV and marine markets.

Wrangler NW Power Products, Inc. was created in 1997 when Northwest Regulator, Inc. purchased the Arizona-based Wrangler Power Products. At the time, Wrangler Power Products was a regional manufacturer focused on power management products for the off-road market; AmFor Electronics was developing products for OEMs selling into the car audio markets.

From the combined strengths of the two companies, a new company emerged able to serve the growing end-user market - not only in North America, but internationally.
